ECOCycle® enables the world's first fully recycled concrete building

A 220-unit social housing complex called “Recygénie” is currently under construction outside Paris, France. Built in partnership with Seqens and using a custom concrete made with Holcim’s ECOCycle® technology, this is the first fully recycled concrete building in the world.

Carbon capture, utilization and storage

Decarbonizing building starts with our operations, and more specifically with cement manufacturing. CCUS is a key lever to accelerate our decarbonization journey. With more than 50 CCUS projects around the world and a commitment to invest CHF 2 billion by 2030, we are leading our industry’s transition to a net-zero future.
