Kim Fausing

Kim Fausing has been a member of the Board of Directors of Holcim since 2020, and serves on the Audit Committee. He is considered independent according to the Swiss Code of Best Practice for Corporate Governance.

In January 2025 Kim was proposed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Holcim. Subject to vote at the Annual General Meeting 2025, Kim will succeed Jan Jenisch, who will not stand for re-election following his appointment as the designated Chairman and CEO of the planned North American company.

Background

A Danish national born in 1964, Kim holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aarhus Teknikum, and an MBA from Henley Business School in the UK.

Kim began his career in 1990 at the Hilti Group, where he held several international roles in Europe and Asia. In 2008, he joined the Danfoss Group as COO and Member of the Executive Committee before becoming President and CEO in 2017.
