Team Holcim-PRB announces crew to compete in The Ocean Race Europe 2025
With preparations for The Ocean Race Europe 2025 underway, Team Holcim-PRB announced the talented and diverse crew led by the only female skipper in the race, Rosalin Kuiper (NL). The new crew brings together five passionate, highly-skilled and experienced sailors, who will fly the GO CIRCULAR flag high: Nicolas Lunven (FR), Carolijn Brouwer (NL/AU), Franck Cammas (FR) and Alan Roberts (GB/BR).
On August 10th, the green and blue IMOCA will set sail at the starting line of this prestigious six-week regatta, featuring six stopovers around Europe. With GO CIRCULAR, Holcim is sailing from sea to city to preserve our oceans with a call to action to accelerate the shift to circular building and living.
Skipper Rosalin Kuiper is a seasoned The Ocean Race competitor, having participated in multiple editions of the race. As the only female skipper in this year’s edition, she brings a remarkable drive and energy to the team. Joining Rosalin is Nicolas Lunven, the French sailor who finished sixth in his first Vendée Globe aboard Holcim-PRB earlier this year. His strategic sailing skills and determination were key to his outstanding performance in the solo, non-stop around-the-world regatta and will benefit the team on its next adventure.
The team is further strengthened by Carolijn Brouwer, a strong female sailor, celebrated for her victories in the Volvo Ocean Race, and for her achievements in multiple World Championships and Olympic sailing events. Also joining is Franck Cammas, a renowned sailor with a wealth of experience. His strategic insight and knowledge will help propel the team toward top performance. Completing the crew is Alan Roberts, a fierce sailor with extensive IMOCA experience, alongside achievements across multiple other offshore classes, highlighting his versatility on the water and his passion for competitive sailing.
Rosalin Kuiper, skipper of Team Holcim-PRB: “This is an exciting and important race, and I am proud to lead such an incredible team of sailors. Together, we are not only racing to win, but to raise awareness for sustainability and the need for a more circular economy.”
Team Holcim-PRB is on track to make waves at The Ocean Race Europe 2025, sailing from sea to city while embodying the Holcim Spirit with Purpose, People and Performance at the core. This complements The Ocean Race’s call to action “Racing with Purpose”, to do as much as possible to support and protect the ocean. Building on their participation in the 2022-2023 Ocean Race and the 2024-2025 Vendée Globe, Team Holcim-PRB will continue to collect scientific data samples to enhance our understanding of climate-related ocean factors.
